really? its not too bad? synth yes it does lack synth melodies, and this is kinda what confuses me while trying to create. Darkpsy doesn't have a lot of melodies, more noise sequences and fx loops and such. i do enjoy listening to the melodies in other peoples Darkpsy tracks but never really come up with any good ones to input into these tunes although the odd few i do come across while experimenting either get lost or they tend to not fill the excitment they did when discovered...

any tips? i am a bit lost on how to get a good solid simple arrangement that works

i think some noise could be enough, the last part of your track sounds a bit that there nothing much happens:) (thats my opinion..)
i also think that bass could be more bass
i dont think its a bad track:)
im not a good producer to tell you some good tips, but you can start by some simple "line" created by notes with different lenght. (this arent probably the right words, but i hope you understand )

i am hardly a producer i have only been doing this music stuff for around 8 years but its not quite as good as when i started. slowly kinda fading off now

the basslines i do are never the same sequences, maybe sometimes they are a bit repetitive but i am still working on them...

feel free to talk any way you like, there aren't rules to speech

thanks mate

I think it's alittle bit too static just because of the clap you added. it kindo gives the sense of a slow track but it's not. It also grabs all the attention and the rest turns into background noise. Maybe for other ears it sounds fine, to mine it kindo contradicts.

Now that's im almost done listening to the whole thing I don't like this clap at all I don't think it belongs to this track. Try to play the track without that clap, I am sure it will sound better. Or you can try a less peircing clap. It's almost like psykovsky with Fullon snare/clap

About the beginning I think you should make shorter by 1/2, without that clap skipping every now and then.

That's all I can say, for me except for that clap and the beginning it sound pretty trippy.           http://soundcloud.com/exkor

Yikes.

That's one dirty piece of noise. Makes me want to crawl under the covers on my bed and hide.

Is that the effect you were going for?

Hi there!
I think you have some cool sounds in there..
though i would change the baseline to something more groovy...

I dont think its so dirty noise as Tomos say..
But you could mix it better and change baseline, this one is barely hearable, too low notes... My opinion of course...
Otherwise i like the mystic vibe in the middle..
