i love the cds for my car...driving around 
and nice cd artwork is always a super plus as an expression in your collection shelf.
too many Harddrives look ugly ....maybe its a matter of personal choice

That's why Ektoplazm provides a good balance: you can download mp3 and listen to it on your portable player, or lossless (WAV and FLAC) and burn it onto a CD for your car, or you can buy a CD with artwork for your pretty shelf or to give as a gift. Covers all bases!
Even if you charge people nothing but S&H for those CDs - will you sell 12000 of them?
If you are going to get a server space and domain name and whatsnot for your site - why not use it to host music? |

Speaking of digital downloads, what percent of Ektoplazm downloads are MP3, compared to WAV and FLAC? I'm just curious.

Usually it's about 50% MP3 downloads, 50% lossless.
