hmm, hehe
The transport panel that is and you can scroll the tempo if you like, if its fixed.
i mean how did you change temp in the first place, cubase default is 120bpm....
i was thinking you meant to change the tempo from 140 to 150 in the middle of the track.... |

If you want to change speed midway through, or change the speed gradually (a la Altom - Groove Control)... use the tempo track function
Gonna have to hit the hay though... and if someone hasn't explained it by tomorrow I will hehe

i would like to know more about it, i know you can automate the timeline with tempo-track, but im sure there is lots of more to it that i dont have a clue about..
it would be real nice if you gave a more detailed explaination i always wanted to know more about it... maybe if you tell we all be able to express our self better
cheers.. |

Using the tempo track:
Opening it up:
ctrl+t or
menu bar -> project -> tempo track
Now open up the transport panel, and make sure the setting above the bpm is on "track", and not "fixed"...
In the tempo track window you can do lots of stuff... and you can - importantly - choose to "insert curve":
You can here choose "ramp"... which will gradually change the tempo from its initial tempo to the tempo which you want. Put on "snap mode" and choose the quantize/grid settings and you'll be able to choose exactly where you want tempo changes to start and stop....
Importantly though when you change the tempo... make sure your audio tracks are set to follow musically (the audio won't time stretch itself - unless you quantize your audio with timewarp - you'll probably need to chop and quantize)
Make sure the audio track settings for the tracks running as you change the tempo are set to musical, here's a pic of the setting:

Anyway... should be a starting point lol
Enjoy slowing things down and speeding them up!
