hey!
i work with nuendo, now, someone asked me to do sound effects for his movie with a heart pumping, and increasing in rythm, i imported an audio track and then set the bpm to get faster and faster through the tempo track, but...instead of increasing in spead, simply the grid shrinks and gets shorter and shorter
and adjusts itself, but the audio part doesnt increas...so....how do i actualy take an audio part and increas its spead from
alow to fast...
thanx! |

It depends on how you're using the sample...
If you have one extended heart beat sample then you can do a timestretch envelope from normal to faster without having to worry about tempo...
If you however have individual heartbeat samples which you have put on the grid... then switch off the tempo track for the moment and make sure this (see pic) is on 'musical' - like the pic - and not linear (looks like a grey clock)
Then do the increasing tempo track again...
