Combining Variants styles and waves Tempest Recording bring forth a CD a bit different than others. It's "something else", pretty hard to define. Arcane Trickster compiled a mix genre compilation all connected to a psychedelic root.
Electrickery begins with Trible, a low BPM track by spies, Instead Of (Get your Implant remix), it is a very relaxing and hypnotic track bearing a spectacular atmosphere on one hand but on the other resembles to much the classical track "Little Fluffy Clouds" by William Orbit.
As weird as it could be the next two tracks are uplifting trance tracks, The first by Red Eye named Iris, the second is a strange track by The Omn Squad and named Paralytic. Paralytic runs through ideas very fast and doesn't fit my taste so much due to it strange construction (can also be viewed as an interesting track!).
I can't really understand what was running in the compilers mind when he collected these tracks, it's seems like there is no connection between most of them.
From this point to the very end, this compilation just gets softer and you can find some delights like Ornament - I-Massa and Arcane Trickster - Forever, great work by these two.
After all this is not another psytrance compilation but very psychedelic holding a few good & interesting merits.
The only problem I got with this compilation is that there is no guideline to it. This compilation can be very relaxing at times and a big headache in other.
This is the kind of compilation you must hear by yourself and make you own judgment, I recommend you do.
