Tellus 2 is a psychedelic trance project which have the ambition to give you music from an another world. Listen to me when I play live and you will understand...
Tellus 2 is a one man project and consists of me, Magnus Backstrom. I was born in Karlstad 1965 but moved to Orebro in 1966. My musical career started when I was 9 years old with a flute in my hand.
I played mostly punkrock and arenarock when I was a teenager but in 1996 I discovered goa trance. I sat in a borrowed car one night and the only music I could get my hands on was goatrance.
I got possessed by the music and have since then been a loyal listener. I began to make my own electronic music in 1999. I created chillout in the beginning and a year after I started the TELLUS 2 project. My ambition is to make music that is "on the edge".
