Yamaha RM1x? That cute little groovebox?
I've played with it a little, and my opinion is:
1.Very easy and fun to use. 2.The effects are OK, not more. 3.The factory sounds aren't the best, but you can achieve good results with a lot of tweaking. 4.Very good built-in sequencer.
Overall: Great for beginners or ppl who play live. If you're not one of the above, i recommend saving your money for a synth, although this particular groovebox is quite good.
Peace & Luv, Tom. |

i played with the mpc3000... i dont know how good the actual drum machine part is, or what other features are on there (in tuerms of sounds) so noone tell me off for being wrong.... buit i know a lot of professional artists swear by it as a studio sequencer and for live work |

I don't prefer any groovebox.
If you really want to buy a groove box, that's the one i'll recommend, but as i said, if you're not a beginner or a live player - buy a synth, it will worth it. |
