I got to see them live a few weeks ago in Detroit and although it was kind of weird to see them with a live vocalist, I must say I enjoyed it very much. The vocalist's voice is wonderful and her sound is very relaxed. It kind of takes the best elements from trip hop, yet its still very electronic.

Sounds interesting- I really liked their last album.           ---------------------------------------------

I must say that "Map of what is effortless" left me completely speechless! Finaly, NEW MUSIC. new sound, so fresh.
Like in the first album, all the electronic elements are very complex, the amazing thing here is that it doesn't come in place of the simple chillin' vibe, they managed to combine the best from each world in perfect harmony.
some tracks combine the 'lo-tech' rhythms and rnb/soul vocals, which is a bit strange, but still, refreshing! (their way to Craig Davids' fans i guess?)
One thing i didn't like so much in this album, not because it doesn't sound good, just sounds borrowed, is the 'apocalyptic' choruses a la Sigur Ros/Ulrich schnauss, not very authentic...i prefer telefon's simple minimal vibe.

Grab this album !

this album is very different, and a step forward from the first one.its been long in the making too.it has mostly soul vocals over a lovely glitching backdrop of noises and beats.the songs are also a lot more dramatic and the sound is "large" so to speak.theres also some standard female-vocal tracks.
excellent stuff indeed.i loved "sounds in a dark room" as well, taken from their "immediate action" ep.
