One my favourite electronica groups!!! Glad you asked!!!
Great duo of Josh Eustis and Charlie Cooper.
Two albums that I know of :
Fahrenheit Fair Enough (2001)
and Map of What is Effortless (2004) (one of the best releases this year)
both by Hefty Records...
Practically it is not two albums but two gems that I own...
...with great music!!! Really melodic and gentle experimental ambient, IDM -as far as tags are concerned- with many instruments (guitar strings, electric piano chords and bass lines, along with beats and fx - also vocals in Map of What is Effortless) all put together, yet leaving space to make it a kinda quiet laid back drive to beauty...
For more info just click on their official site: http://www.telefontelaviv.com
PS Just go get it!!!
Minds are just like parachutes. They only work when they are open. :) |

Whoa! that is cheap.
Alas, I got to get myself a normal credit card.
Thanks for the info.
Telefon Tel Aviv sure is a great band.
Beautiful unique stuff.
Every song has its own personality.
All in all - wonderful!

really looking forward to checking out the music of these guys,..... sounding like its right up my alley in terms of my musical taste at the moment!
(this new section is great btw! can see myself spending more time here than in the trance areas! )

They are a great group... I believe they reside in Chicago now, my home town.
Really liked the vibe of the first album, but didn't really dig the second one. |
