What is the most effective way to change continously one of the VSTs parametes ? Let's say i want to change each X seconds the LFO or DELAY... how do u do that smartly ?

with automation...
How to automate depends on ur host sequencer. In cubase u have to click on the plus in the VST track (completely on the left) and the first automatable parameter will appear. You can select the parameter to automate by clicking on the name of the parameter, select LFO speed to automate LFO speed...
In fruityloops you have to go into the browser on the left, into current project. There u find all fx and synths for ur project. And if u click on the synth u will get a list of all automatable parameters. R-click on the parameter u want to automate and select edit events.
it is also possible in ableton and reason but i don't know how by heart... I don't know about other hosts... |
