the way i look at the moon is not the same for you and vice-versa ................... this is nothing surprising and learn to live with that happily or stop partying . .. ..... DRUGS are everywhere but the only soft targets are those who cannot be understood by a person with "wake up go to work come back have a drink fcuk at the bed , ditto next day and forever" and still we all wanna party in the heart of such gatherings with psychoactives rolling on the floor ......... so okay learn to pay the price ......................
OR make a social group MAybe NGO to support a drug free music scene if really its for the love of trance mzk

i think these substances are called re-creational drugs..... i think they will be taken more and more with time to come and growing and money making india will have more users .......pharma drugs are more harmful..... cough syrups .... n 10's .....spasma sum shit.... why the Fish r they catchn re-creational drug users and hyping it up ....blowing it big......which in india probably has 10 death's a year ( i think!).... more important drugs that have terrorists links and destroy a person are heroin and smack and even dendrite and all those funny things and lsd , coke n e's are the stuff taken by well off...artists , musicians, designers , fashion world and ya the rich.... and are designed for having fun ...to laugh and to relieve stress..... that every developed nation has gone through these ..... people grow up..they move on...... now yes there is a problem .... how do u stop it........... send the thullas n press......NO FREAKING WAY......... make goverenment funded enough re-habs per users ratio......having been to re-habs in india i find mostly these centres are for heroin and smack and pharmaceuticals........ go and see the garbage yards .... the railway stations .... the slumps and see the number of heroin menance........ go do their urine tests as well.......man it's a mess!! |

@mk47 - I don't see any 'time pass' with this discussion nor with what went down.
Whatever needs to be said regarding this will be in the paper soon enough. It's about time we get a voice to address this issue and also I hope to crystallize the subject of the amount of narcotics found, the brutality we faced inside, false allegations against Shay and how Maharashtrians were let off easily because they spoke in Marathi and also their names and last names.

As far as cops are concerned, they are always under the impression that the firang dude is the one "pushing" stuff.
And for Marathi speak, well thats somthing which wont change easily, but would love to hear what could be done to change that !
Still remember how Riktam disappeared when cops just stopped a party at Rock Bottom some years ago(not a bust or anything , a timing issue i guess)..didnt realise then why he panicked and took off somewhere, i guess experience makes one wiser to the situation !

Seriously man , your music is very good but we must understand there always has been this uncertainty in the scene I would say worldwide. Even outdoors in America stand the risk of getting busted, dog squads sometimes check vehicles coming from festivals etc..
So please try to look at the broader picture, there are "responsible" promoters who have thrown strong events, hope this makes some sense.

it is happening because of cause and effect ......... moondust and pune busts made the general public aware of such parties.... it has been going on for 40 years now...... (probably when that mumbai cop nagre or patil was in his diapers.....)
it started and centered on the love vibe...... no ego.... no money... the very same things that you point out was what it defied... then it evolved .... new genres ...new school of psy music came into the picture...... harder sounds .... baring lsd all other D's also became harder .... more preference to dark music and d mafias like the russians started penetrating stuff and pushing music n parties that needed more D's ......... the bubble basically bursted.......... but ya a part of me thinks we should do this whole vibe like the old days and forget the new ways like take it into discos and do not play the harder sounds ... and even screw isra ..... but we are humans we can't keep doing the same things in the same way or can we.........
my problem with this is ...... u are catching the wrong people .......... u can't catch the music makers or the parties...... u catch them in the airports and customs ..........
