anyone out here willing to compile all articles from all the socalled city busts that have happened since 2000 ? these events have become way too cyclic... hype and fear for a few months, then in comes another overdone gig and another bust.
if we can get something concrete together regarding everything that has happened ... irresponsible organizers, unethical police and rivalry within the organizations. would be helpful if we could segregate all causes so we can get down to the crux of it all.
eventually though it boils down to the same thing... drugs and this music do not mix in the eyes of the observer... especially since the music emulates a high so well. it's weird why the psy community refuses to understand that aspect and get smart.
my best guess is that people involved don't love the music enough to get responsible and unethical organizers cater to that irresponsible need.
anyway, anyone up for the task please PM me.

but you know what,the news says that whoever did not consume drugs and the report says no drugs found in their urine wont be produced in court....that means its not illegal to attend a rave,the problem starts when you consume...........parties can go on and more can be organized just as long as organizers make sure there are no drugs inside......
the future of psychedelic in this country relies on wether we can enjoy it clean.....its not amsterdam but neither is it thailand so it can work for us if we are a bit more responsible regarding sticking to a stay clean policy no matter how many parties are stopped,and a time will come when the cops and the media will realize that there is no point venturing out and busting a psy scene cause nothing will be found....... |

Fist of all let me make it clear by just posting and doing no action against the system , nothing can be done...
BUt we got to act as a team voice it out together , just few of us only wont do...
Ofcource we can file a Public Interest Litigation and those caught that night can put a Defamation case against the Mumbai police Anti Narcotics Cell...
There is no middle ground here , you can object however you want, for whatever reason you want if u are right and not guilty....
We are not their dads servants infact they are cival public servants ...
We are law abiding citizens and we pay our taxes. Which law states u cant go to a club and hear psy music ?
We have just gone to a legal place with a legal time and if they found drugs they could have taken those in who had them...
They just cant put in innocent youth without any proof and keep them full night and take them to govt hospitals where there is a risk of getting AIDS or other infectious diseases...
This is not the way to conduct raids and if they have to raid a place and take the public for drug testing they cant take their own sweet time its a fast procedure should have been organised while just few cops and crampt up vans..There are Raid Precautions which they should take..
Any body could have a panic attack , Giving fmly pressure and stress , There could be a stampade as there was in a club in mexico when a raid was conducted....
Few places have had raids in the past and the police have been questioned about their powers abroad and few high rank police officers have been sacked...

If they do test positive then they can be charged under possession for personal consumption and the punishment is six months to a year. The people arrested for dealing could be in for longer, the ncb site says 10 to 20 years or first time offenders.
Someone needs to change the damn law. if you aren't harming anyone it should be in your bloody right to do whatever you want to. and if people are consuming according to their own will very well knowing what they are getting into i dont see how its anybody else's business. get sorted before you enter the party. say no to dealers at parties! minors stay at home if you wanna party hard!
