SO tell me - why was the Technodrome CD Promo thread deleted and Penelope Pitstop?
We only told you the truth
So wtf is ur problem with honest people outing scammers?
Does banning Penelope and deleteing the thread make you look like wankers in control?
My opinion is that those in charge here are so 2 faced, they just want cash! - Prove me wrong and tell me the real reason!
I'd really like to know the real reason - you let the promoters of that CD call myself and Yidam cunts and wankers and even have death threats in PM's yet you did nothing about it!!!
So come on - out with the TRUTH! And the real truth!

Haven't been exactly following whats going on regarding the cd but from what i understand is the artist should be compensated with atleast whatever it is that he spent to get out of jail.

I'd guess it was deleted because it was a volatile thread and it broke more than a few of the forum guidelines, and from what I recall the mods gave more than few warnings as it spiraled out of control.
Most likely the ultimate reason was that it was no longer a promotional thread, it was some kind of incestuous fight, and therefor had no place on this forum?
I mean, we're given pm's for a reason, so that other users don't have to put up with such crapola.
In the end we all have only ourselves and the higher being to answer to so bad mouthing and ranting is just annoying.
BTW LSD-25, if you been banned your profile still exits, you just can't post or anything and are told to contact the mods about it via email.

I didn't receive any death threats or PMs and it's probably because nothing I said in that thread was out of line.
The fact that they didn't have a genuine answer to the questions was proof enough of the cause. There are many things in this world that you can and should get this enraged about but this is far from one of them.
I was planning on buying this CD... that's the reason why I got so personally involved.

Yep... I'll pick it up but not online. Waiting for the copies to reach Bloodclot in India. This really should be hand sold by all people involved at parties. Going the label/distro way was a stupid move.
Will be doing it for the cause though... and shall definitely follow up. |

yeah I'm trying to trust from where I live that some of it does go to the cause and that well if not karma deals with the rest.
I know the distro way isn't the best but it can then reach a wider market to the cause like me

It doesn't make one bit of sense in this case.
Most CDs don't even cover costs of printing these days. Ultravision also said something about further amounts going directly to the distro. That's what got us pissed off in the first case. It was obvious from the start that there wasn't going to be any profit via this route... and all the while the label involved were promoting the heck out of themselves given the traffic on the thread. |

the thing is Yidam and Steve, if you had both ignored it and let it go away, there would have been very little promotion, but the sniping and bullsh!ting that went on between you guys and the labels just brought more attention to it, and here we have another thread on it!
Marketing 101, any attention is good promotion 
How many people saw those arguments and probably went "WTFis going on? better check it out man!"
I'd say at least twice as much as had you ignored it from the start.
Sometimes ignoring something does something more positive.
I don't support the label at all if they are ripping off buyers for a cause, but you two only have yourselves to blame for all the extra attention you brought to it.
Now this thread will grab more peoples attention who probably would give two f#cks about another dark psy release.
so the best thing for all involved is to STFU and move on.
