dave clark is too noisy friend do u like his sets.he's so frustrating that i cannot follow him.dave clark is a bad trip.
but I cannot say the same thing about hawtin.I have seen him many times spinning and one live (decks and fx's )and he was hypnotic.nowadays he's working with villalobos playing live.any feedback on that?

plastikman is hawtin live
Dave Clarke's sets are like binaries. Like a bit his music has only two states: on or off, meaning: genious or crab.
Sometimes you have luck and the whole set is great with no exception - and one set later you're asking yourself if it's really Clarke behind the decks, when the right feeling for music is at once missing and there's no tension in the set at all.
I am a collector of his sets ever since and that's my personal summary. But hey, he's genious, and so are 60 % of his sets.

He can be a genius as you says, he remains a true asshole so..
(No offence to anybody it's something I have witnessed that made me having such an opinion)
Producers that haven't been quoted already :
Thomas Krome
Glenn Wilson
Mike Humphries
Steve Stoll
Blake Baxter
Thomas P. Heckmann
Thomas Schumacher
Ken Ishi
Levent Faki (Dj La Monde)
Most of them are also deejaying.. Here's a lit of some of the best sets I've seen/heard :
Dj Pierre, Marky and the Stammheim crew (Kassel in Germany)
Dj Pauli
WJ Henze
Toni Rios (according to his mood, hehe)
Frank Lorber (same same)
Electric Indigo (super super Djane from Austria)
Trevor Rockcliffe (super friend of Carl Cox, but I think he SHOULD be at the top, not Carl)
+++ soooo many others..
