]yea man. you r 100% right... when i produce i think more trance than techno. but it influenced from my fullon and not every1 who makes tech has a fullon side projects to..

Probably projects like x-dream or midi miliz they don't have full on side projects because they mainly invented full on standar formulas years ago..So full on basslines are a long past for them since they are some of the projects which always push the boundaries and breaking the limits of music styles year by year...           www.myspace.com/tasos_notrea

Favourite projects - Personally I feel, that besides all projects from Horns and Hoofs and Boshke Beats, these also could fit in:

Sensient - Pressure Optimal (Zenon Records)
Cujorius One - Creating A Second Sun (Zenon Records)
Navajo - Something That Came Back (Crotus Records)
Nuclear Ramjet - Mission To Sedna (Spaceport Records)

Little OT at the end - prepare yourself for the new album Paramoral from Krumelur...it will be FUCKING great!!!!

Let me be fair here: absolutely every release by Zenon Records is very good, Iīve ordered all their albums and compilations. Great tech-trance!! Keep going on guys! They are perhaps the best label in the TT area.

Intelligent Manipulation
Eyes Rolling
Permutations
Cujorious One

And BTW, when is Krumelur album due to?

Peace and Love.

I have another opinion about the reason why tech-trance releases don't get sold, booked or played as it should be. I think the sound is very oriented to the night-time and to the techno scene. On the other hand, it's offered to the psytrance public, which is well know for their taste in formula full-on music (most of the time). So the basic problem is that the target meant for it isn't being reached (techno heads). I know that a bunch of techno djs like Pascal FEOS, Alexander Kowalski and even Sven Vath play tech-trance releases, such as Fuzzion, Metalogic and etc. So, the bottom line is that this kinda music should be promoted to techno fans and maybe also release it on vinyls, which is the format they most appreciate. My 2 cents

Yeap but I think the crowd from Japan have different opinion...And for sure are opened in much more music styles and they accept tech trance as part of psy trance           www.myspace.com/tasos_notrea

@Sandoz, Tazos: well Sandoz, Iīve been playing TT lately in some psy parties and people like it a lot. Last time I played after a brazilian DJ who played Skazi complete biography (you would think he was trying to impersonate the man himself, eh eh) and I was a little afraid of the reaction I would receive from the crowd, playing something so sophisticated after a Skazi-like show. But, my point is that my tracks ARE trance, NOT techno. I think if I played something very hard, them your point would be validated. But, you know, TT is not so hard - it has that swinging touch in the basslines that pleases everybody. And itīs not so mellow that would make people dizzy. Thatīs why Iīve leaving full-on tracks aside and playing more and more TT. Itīs superior in quality and itīs great for dancing.

Peace and Love.

@ goa-ganges ... well thats why i posted that link ... it wasnt really for self promotion so that all of you can come back to me and go oooo aaaaaaahhh .. it was more to let u all know that were into this style as well. and if u like tech then you will be hearing quite a bit of our stuff in the near future if you follow this sorta vibe.

@ jaramogi. that was not why i posted that link. I was just trying to make he people aware that the tech scene is still going strong...
We are just trying to get the message accross that there is more to the south african trance scene then Fullon !
