I just joined the forums yesterday, and this is the first tune I've listened to.

I've got to say that I'm fully impressed and inspired! Really nice bass sound - tight as!

And the intro is great too - love it how you can't predict when it's coming in.

The breakdown is cool too - you don't hear too many tempo changes pulled off, and yours is done really well.

Overall sound is nice and consistent - nothing stands out as not fitting in.

Good interesting choice of notes in the melodies, it creates an original vibe to the song - some of the faster psytrance can put some people on a 'bad trip' or kill their buzz, but I think that's mainly due to the melodies being too dark and not uplifting energy-wise. So I think it's cool that you've got the energy and intensity while not turning certain people off with really dark melodies.

Suggestions:
Because the track is really good, these suggestions may be a matter of personal taste.

Maybe a few more crashes? I find its good to get an explosive sounding crash and take of all the low/mid freqs, so its just a high psssssshh, and doesn't really stand out much, while still adding a bit of intensity.

- Perhaps there could be more progression compositionally towards main parts in the song? This could be done by having less melodies, and breaking up your main melodies into simpler parts, introducing one part at a time until the melody is complete, which is what you would be building up to. You can fill the gaps left in the simplified melody with noises that don't have any strong tone (not part of the melody).

This is probably just a personal taste thing though but hope it helps!

Sounding awesome!!!!           http://www.soundcloud.com/architektnz

I appreciate the feedback
About the crashes, yeah, sure, I'll check it out... percussion generally isn't my strong suit, so any commentary there is appreciated XD
As for the melodies thing.... ahhh, I get exactly what you're saying, the song does seem to run around a bit... I just generally don't have the patetience for lonnnngggggg progressssiooonnnssssss, my attention span wants ints ints music, it want's a lot of variety and it wants it NOW! Soooooo, noted, I will see about this slower progression thing in my next adventure

^5 Architekt for nice thorough commentary
