ok... listen to this track through... from the 6:45 mark till the end just smile and imagine the sun as its almost in its highest point... timeless melody and just pure bliss

^First trance track to ever make me cry. It was about 3am after a bad day, and I was listening to it on headphones in my room. When it got to the 4:17 mark, I started weeping like a baby. To this day, I always think of her as my first true love.
^ Timeline (Blue Planet Corporation Remix) by Wizzy Noise. Sorry, no youtube so you'll have to scroll down the page for the sample. What a frikkin' GORGEOUS piece of music. From about 1:50 (of the sample) when the floaty bits come in, it's like flying through a nebula in my head. A long-term affair, this one; it has brought tears to my eyes on many occasions.
^ Frankly, I've probably snivelled my way through the entire Blue Energy album at some point since I first heard it, as it's my absolute favourite ever ever ever. Pick a track, any track; they're all amazing. I'm putting this forward because it's the only one out of all my nominations that I've ever had the pleasure of experiencing on a trancefloor (during an old skool set at a party last year). I was so surprised and happy to hear it being played out, I started crying and laughing at the same time. And dancing like a bastard obviously. Lush moment.
^ Perhaps my all-time numero uno weep track, and one of my top three Goa/psytrance tunes of all time. Soooooo ridiculously beautiful, and it really gets to me. Would kill to hear it on a dancefloor, but alas, I came to psy long after it was current so I probably never will.
Which is true of most of my favourites actually. Ah well.

Electric Universe-Meteor the best psy trance track ever with a guitar used in it and the tune that each party should finish in the early morning hours.
Power Source-Skywalker from the melodies masters.
Space Cat-Deep Rising with a massive emotional build up in the middle of it.

If I understood it correctly tears of joy is the hedline ,by reading comments you mean in trance.
I cannot remeber even one psytrance tune that produced that sorta emotions to me.Im sorry.But some ambient touched me really deep .

you never felt happy on sun arise listening to some fucking tune, digging and exploding with the whole crowd like an energetic bomb?
Nobody can convince me that a chillout tune does it better than a good old days psy track exploding your feelings once a while...

ok so maybe my understanding of terms is aside of the point..
I was like the happiest person on earth by some of my night trip expiriences with psyco disco on full blast some years ago.The music has a bit changed here at least in hamburg and for sure at some of old killer festivals here too.
Psykovsky would be a great candidate tonight.Old days : Etnica ,Transwave,Sheyba,Flying Rhino,Halucinogen,Tsuyoshi Suzuki,Green Nuns,'Star sounds orchestra gongz and all that mighty spirit stuff.Etnica caught me completely back than-that was my first "favourite" psytrance band lol ..or infected and PSYCO! that was a killer.Of kors X-Dream extreme fun back than x-dream showed mi ears the deepness of this genre .Each tune of Cassandras Nightmare.. and Qlippoth
