hi everybody,
first party in NY for me since last year, and what 2 say - things didn't change a lot .. First of all, very strong vibe created by amazing crowd, friendly faces all around - "the gathering". Second, organizers put alot of efforts in this thing; fully psydecorated club, good sound, friendly security, well - thumbs up 2 TDC crew! So its just music what is left 2 make it perfect but here I'd say that till Bog's set there was not much to listen to in the main hall(but drilling full-on),in progressive room it was more electro oriented stuff, definatelly more interesting. Visual Paradox was good, he had a pass where to go and the last dj (Babla?) gave some nice morning tunes, open air oriented, the croud was up side down till the end..
So, summin up - cool party, wish more like this and maybe shifting the music at night to 138 bmp amd less u guys can lift it even higher           Dance is my Trance

Big BOOM to NIC and TDC... i really had a blast, Nic mate no need to butter u up but u are truly a gracious host. the whole tdc crew has done yet another brilliant job in organizing a 'party'. everythin from tha deco to tha set times to the choice of artists. brilliant stuff and i cant wait for tha next one.

as for the night where does one begin. bablas opeing set was the same ol.. nice and full on until...... the haram dropped shift. took me a lil off gaurd but thereafter the whole set took another meanin. forget the usual full on that babla normally plays there was an element of pure destruction in his mind for the night. one belter after another.. shift, scorb, you name it. even a few golden oldies in there that worked like a charm.

tdc.. FACKIN HELL... where does this music come from. those two guys, up there are so much in sync with one another that it really makes the set that much more interesting. with extra fx and twwisted sounds coming frm the boys it was a treat to watch them perfom yet again. brilliant energy coming frm them and a flwless set imho.

then bog. uff. for some wacked out reason i was expecting an ultra fluffyy set but dam ws i in for a suprise. he played some banging tracks that had no element of fluff in them,... constantly pounding and brilliant. his newer stuff looks crazy and jus when u dont expect it.. the melodies come in from all over.

his dj set was much of the same. punding and fast. playing new wav hooker at a speed of 145 ws insane.. really really enjoyed it.

like droozi said by the end of bog i was thinking a nice cup of coffee and my bed would be ideal as nothing was going to top that. but tha destructive haram of the night had other plans. if his previous set was an a belter this one in the mornig was pure carnage. one after another. pure morning bliss. he did play the usual moring suspects but at a super high pitch which was extra killer. protoculture coming out at around 146 foloowed by some new and improved wrecked machines... donno what to say. the last four tracks he played ufffffffffffffffffffffffff.... pure power. great fackin set mate truly made the trip up worth it. tha johann bley remx at the end had the whole place in a frenzy.

ahh welll as they say alls well that ends well. i cudnt have asked for a better ending. truly a great evening.

and now until next week... im sure that our own japanese ninja who was there in full support must have been extra charged with all that power to blast us next week with tha micro and dino. cant wait.
big boom tdc and cant wait for ur next suprise.
till tha next time
bada bing bada boom

I had a decent time... despite being all sober and slightly tired from hiking in from Jersey all the way to the wilds of queens. I loved the decorations and the vibe, and the club.
However, my girlfriend and another woman at the party said that she didn't care to much for the style of psytrance being played. I think she has a point. I think the psytrance being played doesn't appeal enough to the ladies at the party.
What I heard was Male DJs playing dark agressive trance that appeals to guys. I think there needs to be a more femine influence at parties, I would like to see more female DJs playing the more melodic style of psytrance that women seem to tend to prefer.
It is like ying and yang. You need to balance the agressive male energy with a soothing female energy.
P.S. - I liked the progressive room, but I thought that maybe the upstairs could be a chillout room?

u know Pisces put this better way: the music at night was agrrrrrrrrrrresive! the matter is not about bpm or full-on(I am fullon fan by myself and 4 a long time) but about the character of music played.
Pisces1979 - as u can see man also need this "femine influence" in music, at least to do shifts "Male" - "Female" - "Male" - .. , its already would be more interesting! but for ur education, both Male and Female Dj have the same right to play what the hell they want! ( u should have seen Stella Nutela, an angel on the Earth - playing some very "male" stuff!! )           Dance is my Trance

hmm.. I really don't think this has anything to do with 'male' or 'female' anything - I think those terms are very misleading. Most female DJs that I've heard, both trance and non-trance, play as hard or harder than most guys, fyi. I know women who love the hardest darkest styles, and I know guys who love fluff. I think it has everything to do with the mental state and being used to certain kinds of music. I know girls are supposed to like 'sexy' music - psy parties are not really 'sexy' - there are other kinds of EDM styles that exist for that.

2 cents

ps - though funky psy can be groovy and psychedelic at the same time..

          ..it's just another party..

hey, being a female myself, just want to say that I love TDC parties. I didn't make it to this particular one, but really enjoyed all others I've been to, better than most current parties in NYC. So I think they should keep on the way they do!
but of course there are as many tastes as there are people...

We want thank Dj BOG for his great energy and beutifull performance. Big respec for your underground support and cds that you brought for people. If more people in trance scene was like you, the trance scene would be FUCKING AMAZING.

Daya thank you very much. We are speachless because its imposible to describe.

thanks to Babla and Indian crew. Babla that was a killer set.

Big Respect to who was involved in making this event. Once again you know who you are.

Pictures will be posted in few days.

ps. For those who complain about music "if there is something you dont understand there is a reason to think about it." And for real undergound lovers our next event will be in Craw Bar with sexy mamas. See you there.

Ok... maybe my choice of words was a bit off, I wasn't telling anyone what to play or what to listen too. I just thought it would be nice to see more female DJs playing at TDC parties (hint hint). Otherwise, I liked the party....and I loved the progressive room!!!

TDC seems to be the only guys trying to bring a harder sound to NYC, where as everyother event post, from another crew i see is normally some big name, clubby/ravey/ psuedo-psy act.

Dont be so hard on the folks that are trying to give you something new and different, give em the credit they deserve for breaking out of the mold, and not just being another face in the crowd

New Yorkers it seems always got to find something to complain about.....

2 cents from out west...

There is no such discrimination in this state of trance, little sample, more woman shaman in my tribe than man that have the duty to communicate with anchestor spirits, but they are too dark for the church, goverment, and other ctlr, blah blah blah. If I forgot wasn't the "darker" hindy goddest "symbol" as a female... I forgot her/his name. Not that i have to stick to any of them but why do you come to the trance arena if you don't want be in trance (unless your trance state of mind came from "tunnel club", etc, than maybe you came to the wrong place, eventho' you have just founded in another state of mind. TDC have its own style and Babla and Visual Paradox offering some nice melodic songs, and TDC provide the Progressive floor for them who can't digest full-on, so why you don't dance in the progressive floor (as always best place to escape for me a little) so what are you guys complain of? If TDC found it's situation to find a female that will fit their taste and budget. I am sure they will bring them all. It's all about the energy flow from everything, the vibration which all of us made of. Thats the best affordable vacation from your daily world. You cannot recognice the sunny days without experiencing a dark nights, you just mentioned that ying and yang if i am not wrong... Oh my preaching, sh#t off already right...?

Can't get it out of your system? Dance-in' there!!!
