nice party! this was the first "big" party i'd been to in the city for a number of months, so it was very refreshing to see so many familiar smiling faces and good vibes

iguana's set was infuckingsane as expected, i only wish he could have played longer, like a full 3 hr set or something. and what was that craaaaaaaazy track he played at the end??? loved it

our man gadi was on the money too, not as much my style, but very smooth and definately had the crowd up and jumping after iguana, so small task

slept through most of babla's set at the end, sounded a bit too pitched up to me, but maybe i was just out of my head by then, hehehe. and was that a protoculture remix i heard near the end? nice.

also the deco was very very good, the best i have seen at an indoor party in a while. i especially liked the 3d sculpture stuff next to the dj booth.

respect to nik, mukti, and all the tdc crew. can't wait for the next one.

boom.

my first trance party in north america gave me the impression that there could be and should be a solid trance comunity here.
when i got to the party, i enterd a psychedelic crazy dunjen, naked tourist was playing, ppl whent mad from his set , energies were very agresive, most of his music i could not figuer out where is the psychedelia between all the speed drums, it was a crazy dance floor, but i don't think the music could be listened to , but just hamering ppls cells. then i was disapointed- i expected more scary sampls, then only 166 bpm drums,
after naked surrender played,
it was a very diffrent music and invirement then the war befor, true pure sound of high quality full-on, psychedelic and pure sounds, dance floor was more into dancing then brain damage, the mixing was great. boom to ya surrender
then came babla- not much of tracks selection- sory , not my cup of tea
great ppl, nice place ,beautifull deco keep it going

darkiller : First of all, teach me how to recognize 166 bpm drums....

And yes, I was expecting a little darker and scarier tunes from Iguana.           If you ever find yourself being ripped apart by a pack of wolves, try not to scream. Everbody knows wolves can smell fear.

TDC saved my sanity and restored my hope for the future of the North American trance community, as usual - especially after the pain of talamasca at avalon last week! ....

so a HUUUGE ThaNK YoU to TDC and to everyone who was there...!!

The best thing about TDC parties is not the music -- even though Fria, Naked Tourist, and Surrender were all KILLER and the line-up was organized as a proper journey ...something so often missing.....

-- nor is the best thing the incredible artwork -- which absolutely blew our minds, thanks to Uta's fantastic visions and Daya's creations....

Even though these things on their own are amazing, the best part of TDC parties is actually the wonderful vibe the TDC boys create with their own great energy -- and the way that energy attracts the best people in NYC (and philly)!!!

So thanks to all of you... and special love to Nik, Mukti, Sergei, Paul, Uta, Fria, Surrender, and Iguana!

Overall the experience was beautiful, so thanksthanksthanks again and see you all on the 21st at the next TDC adventure!!!!

BRILLIANNNNNNTTTT!!!! Another beautifully done fantastic party that left aftertastes until now on Monday!!

One more for TDC and still going stronger after the festival bonanza last month....keep it up guys ..this is the right way-Quality Music, Quality organisation and out of the world vibe and energy ..Perfect formula and thank you for following it up again..

Big thanks to Craazy Bawi Friaa who played a great opener and of course, the Iguana who just took you on an express elevator in the last hour....un-believable tracks and energy all the way...and Gadiiiii for the morning journey and some of his signature style!!! what else, can I say without the violent she-male who should be kept out of the future parties before she gets KILLED and of course, a word to dj's who are not the line-up, show some respect and let an artist close his set and journey as planned because he deserves it and most importantly has earned it!! Please do not take advantage of the close vibe that we all share and ruin it for us near the end of the party....

All in all, can't wait for the 'Hatrick' (3 in a row) on the 21st ......lots of BOOMMM..

Love TDC

initially i wasn't going to comment on the now infamous altercation on the dancefloor, but fwiw it appeared to me that the girl in question was being antagonized by someone else (the same person both times) and did not initiate any violence but was merely defending herself.

i could be wrong, but this was my perspective.

We asked babla for a faviour to close the party because surrender 2 hour set started and finished earlier. He did not disrespect nobody.

p.s. About the girl, she is a friend and a very good energy and spirit person. Everyone has its bad and good moments. To throw a person out is a simplest thing...

I understand that she is a nice person, and a friend. I've seen her at other parties, but this is not the first time she is behaving like this.
She totally terrorised everybody around her and at such a small club it was a big problem, it destroyed the mood, I don't think only mine.
Isvara, I understand that you couldn't just kick her out, but I think that as a promoter and her friend you need to talk to her
before the next party so that she knows what went on, because I am sure she will not remember anything, nor she would want to behave like this.
Staying at the party did not make her feel any better, but it spoiled the mood for others.
We come to trance parties and try to feel good energies around, and when you see all the smiling faces around you, moving with the same music, and enjoying it, you enjoy it even more, and seeing fights, attacks to fellow trancers is not acceptable. There's not that many trancers in NYC, that's why we all know each other (almost all the faces are familiar), so we are like a family, sharing our love for the music.
I also understand that as her friend you can't just kick her out, but what about all others that she was kicking, beating, yelling, and totally scaring people around? I have nothing against her she is definitely a part of the crowd on other nights, but , I was worried about people that were dancing around her, and I couldn't relax and enjoy the music and the party because of that. If nobody speaks to her it's going to happen again.

"Emagine if it happens to you. What should we do?"
I would definitely want to know that my friends would be there for me if it indeed happened to me, by letting me know it happened, and not letting
me destroy other people's night.
          no time to talk...just dance.

I was around her area for most of the night (due to the cold air coming form the vent) and I can tell you she beat up at LEAST 10 people. And I mean beat them senseless like she was possessed. And you say: "Emagine if it happens to you. What should we do?"

I would not let myself get so fekked up in the first place, but if I did anything that even remotely resembled her actions, then you could take me to the back, beat the crap out of me and kick me to the curb. And I would understand. Please talk to her and let her know how we feel so she doesn't ruin the party next time.

We don't need that kind of "good energy" at a psy party. We need positive, respectful, intelligent energy and manners... all of which your friend lacked and all of which you had my friend.           If you ever find yourself being ripped apart by a pack of wolves, try not to scream. Everbody knows wolves can smell fear.

Which poor chap? There was a lot of them. You talking about the guy who bear hugged her and carried her across the room? That's the big incident that I missed most of so I don't know. There was another dude she side-kicked 3 times and punched in the stomach right before 5am. I felt bad for him. Hell, I felt bad for everyone who got beatings.

Btw, where do you guys buy your psy t-shirts from? Any links to cheap online stores? The ones based in Europe are expensive as hell. I saw some really awesome clothing that night.
