My experience in a nutshell: Came back from work at 8:00 and was chilling at home kicking back some beers when babla comes over. "Shammy you must listen to the new stuff that I am going to kill them with" he said ... so we start to listen to the music that was meant to cause damage to poor feet of all the people that made it for his set. Needless to say to each track I heard bought upon a renewed excitment for the party. So we get ready around 10:30 and journey to Axis. Ofcourse coming from hoboken it was easier to take midtown tunnel - however the directions said Williamsburg bridge - so in short (or should i say in long) we made a 20 minute journey last about 50 minutes - by first going downtown and then coming back up in queens. Thanks to the rain the drive was even more pleasant - Not!! Reach Axis at 11:30 - met the very nice bouncers TJ and Shaggy - very chilled out - they actually took my word for it when i told them that i only had my cell phone and car keys in my pocket. Babla started playing almost as soon as we got there. Nice set of full on dancefloor bangers - I was trying to get drunk since i had drug test coming up and couldnt really consume any of my usual poison (Why cant drug tests mean test the drugs instead of test for drugs). Bablas set was the perfect prelude to the TDC mafia set. He was even nice enuff to play some uncharecteristicly dark stuff at the end of his set to give us a taste of the mayhem ahead. TDC came on around 2:00 and twisted all the cells in my body causing them to become psychedelic mush .... specially the ones in my feet cause i was really starting to succumb to fatigue. After the much required dark set - the business requirements of the party planning project pointed to another fullon fluffy and dancefloor set which was so eloquently fullfilled by the amazing live set of Atomic Pulse. Eveything about his music was infact Atomic and quite pulsating. Since I was on no psychedelia my only source of escaping into my mind was a 5 minute look at the Backdrop in front of the DJ cabin. The frog with the water drops on it with the distorted reflection of a womans face in it. MOst mind boggling. Chai you are brilliant - i wish i could spend 1 day in your mind just to see your out look towards life. The club axis is a really nice spot - these guys from TDC really know how to pick them. You guys always get the most high energy places. Keep up the excellent work ... hope you have a lot more parties like that. Thank you thank you thank you. |

excellent party ,two thumbs up TDC (as Ebert &Roeper would say hehehe) great locations (spacy) and the great music.
Never was a fan of Atomic but now ............

ah and the daya man I wouldnt trade even one day in to your mind (as the droozi said) i probally wouldn recovery at all,but that damn FROG .......... you making history man

thanks all for enjoying the works, it will make me create more and more. lets talk about the music, everything was amazing and I witnes everything from the beginning to the end, I was there for 15 hrs. babla smashing the floor with psyco positive package, isvara and mukti did everyone legs near collaps, tamir as we know perform the full confidence on the knobs, but personaly for me the main act at that night was nik, why? the answer is i was in a great trip (no drugs) with his dark medicine cruise control all the way to the edge of psycho organic tribal and cyber sets. "I hear someone say, his sets like latest goa gil with the right mixing"
Smiles and space out energy and multicolors everywhere.

thank you to everyone who came and made this event so special........
chai...... ill never forget ur story to how u got inspired to making my fav backdrop
the entire indian crew for support.......
yeah sule....u, veda, nanda, droozi, pu etc
to the djs (earthian, nik, mukti, isvara, inner mongolian, tamir) who just tweaked everyones brains out...... and ofcourse to tamir for making me realise that one can get everyone tired by 7 am

oh yea, forgot to mention that progressive room was the best for sanctuary, hi quality performance of everyone there, best dub downtempo i ever heard and was trippin with shai sets. nice quality sound too. but where is the pictures? maybe anyone could suggest a free hosting for pictues to whoever flashin the cameras...
