From what i've read there were lots of driver issues when it was launched. Haven't read much about it since, best to do some research before you decide to buy.

P.S. AFAIK, the Konnekt8 doesn't have the DSP effects. The Konnekt24 does though.           http://www.soundcloud.com/getafixmusic

I have the 24d, which is the 8 with DSP effects.

It sounds good, but as noted - driver issues. The latency is pretty bad, compared to RME and such.

Since psytrance uses a lot of effects, you can easily bog this down - which requires raising the latency.

The unit itself is actually designed VERY well (in my opinion). Very sturdy.

The sound is good too.

In short: If you want to play MIDI through it, you might have issues - if you're just using VSTi and such, it'll work.
