Tc comp sidechain - key input not working ?

Alrighty guys,
im havin no joy switching the key input button on , on my tc compressor, ive got the sidechainer on an insert on my Kick (in battery) and the compressor on my bass channel , but cant activate the Key input button, have i missed something ?
can anybody shed some light onto why this might be occuring ?

Try it on audio channels...

something is clearly wrong, but i dont know what.
i use it too.
did you put the comp as an insert on the audio channel of your bass in the mixer?
do you see any indication of sound coming IN the sidechainer's meter view?
also, you've got to set the compressor/de-esser so the gain redux showup.
att=0
rel=0
ratio=BIG
thresh=to taste

cheers guys, ive tryed bouncing to audio then trying on 2 audio channels, and its still not workin, im gonna re-instal my tc plugins and see if that sorts it,
thanx for the suggestions

But every time i switch off my sequencer or my project, the next time that i open it the key input is off again!!!!
Why????Anyone please....

Had some problems with native bundle 3.0, but 3.1 works good for me. If you insert sidechainer on kick, and insert TC comp on bassline, keyinput should work, and it sould indicate how many inputs it is receiving.

this is a bug of the plugin and there is no way to solve it hence they are no more supported by tc electronics
