I for one didn't know that the TB was that important in trance?! Goa-trance maybe.
There's a genre dedicated to the sweet box, Acid.

id soon miss the ol bugger if people stopped usin 303 (stylee) sounds
dunno how many producers actually have/use a real tb 303 tbh tho

also just btw... there are plenty of crazy things that can be done with a 303...its just not done enough
and also... not many artists these days use real 303 lines... rarely have i heard a decent 303 lead in the last couple of years..

hey dude,
going to 1 or 2 parties every week in Paris from 93 to 98
without tripping on real acid 303 lines would be quite difficult I think unless I wouldn't have any ear which is not the case believe me.
Around 1996 I had approximately 2000 tracks on DAT of the cream of the cream of goa trance and , again, it would had been quite difficult for me not to trip on 303 acid lines.
I have never talked about using plug in of this instrument or using the real instrument itself but I just said that i was quite bored of hearing the same use of the typical acid frequencies of this instruments used in the same ways and with the same filters, which does not mean I don't like acid frequencies, or this instrument in general or all the sounds you could create with it, but just bored of the limitless repetition of the same frequencies of the "tb303 like" (plug in or not) just to make a track look more acid, psyche or simply to do like everone does.........
As an example the green nuns track that was on mtv is the perfect example of what I dislike in the use of this machine.
