Yup...newest tune. Any thoughts/critiques/criticisms greatly appreciated.

in particular looking for mix critiques in the areas of volume across different items and panning - can you hear the elements clearly? do they muddy each other up? Anything jump out at you as being too loud or too soft? Thanks            If you want to make an apple pie from scratch...you must first invent the universe

wow dude! , sounds super tight to me, those vocals you put sound delicious and perfectly placed in the mix really spacy.I am seriously enjoying this track! Unless some one else hears something I really cant hear anything wrong mix wise, just a lot of work and care is what i hear.

hey, i've just listened with my laptop here. One thing that i feel's missin, as its a kinda long track, it has to keep intressting and it doesn't keep that up all the track imo, u have some nice sounds going on for sure but i think u'll need something phatter, like a main lead that give u some sort of climax. After ~1:50 there are not much of melodies that hooks u up and it could make ppl loose some intresset on the dancefloor, except the very end of it. So, i would add something extra on top of this at some place perhaps a wicked break before that.
Hope this make sence for you
otherwise, great!
Edit: One other thing could be to cut out a minute or two.. works sometimes, compressing the ideas into a shorter version wich gives it a more compact story, shaving of some parts that doesn't do much damage anyways.

cheers!

Thanks for the comments! I actually had it around two minutes shorter a couple versions ago, but it felt like it had more to tell...but you're right, keeping interest is very important. I'll revisit the track in a week or so once i have some distance from it and see what I think about cutting or adding some more leads or hooks or whatnot

Cheers, thanks again for listening            If you want to make an apple pie from scratch...you must first invent the universe
