Nicely sounding!
At 4:48, the comes in 2 semintones lover than the previous bass, is this progression intended? I believe if you play the bass 2 semintones higher (in C# instead of B) it will glue the second part way better into the tune, and not sound like two completely different tunes (a little like it sounds now)
Also, The intro all the way up to 4:48 could benefit from a kick to set the tempo: not necessarily the kick that comes in later (as it's very "in your face") but something lower, with less high end, in a simple pattern counter balancing the snare.

Cheers for the suggestions - I did get feedback from my wife that it 'sounded like two different tracks' - but I kind of like that about it.
The progression is not intended - what I did for the track was copy Walter Ego's Purple Pygmies track into rapid evolution, it told me it was in B Mixolydian at 93 bpm. Used his arrangement for inspiration and wrote both basslines in B Mixolydian.
Beyond that I just picked notes that sounded good at the time
