My newest track is up on soundcloud First track since introducing some analog gear to the studio, took a while to get a hang of it and actually compose something...

Heaps of MS-20 and MF-102 Ring Mod sounds in there as well as my own recordings (including birds, clocks, me coughing, aurora singing!). The original concept was to use only the MS-20 and field recordings for everything but after getting a good basis for the tracks story and key elements I fleshed it out with my usual tools.
I turned the whole project into an Ableton Live Pack which I will link when it finishes the upload. Anyone with Live 9, feel free to take a crack and remix it or take the contents for your own creations or...don't. It is a 6 gig file, so...I will understand if you'd rather not.
Would love to hear any critiques or comments. Thanks for listening

Great job in this track !Really trippy reminds me of hallucinogen and spongle .I only didnt like the bassline in some parts oif the track but overall great work ! |

Cheers! yeah its shamelessly inspired by hallucinogen/shpongle (though I'd like to think it was more an inspiration and not a cheesy rip off). I wanted to see if I could get those atypical early pulsing goa basslines going with the MS20 and I agree its a hit or miss situation sometimes.
IIRC there are ~5 bassline patterns and I really enjoy the groove of #3-5 but #1 and #2..I like them but not as much. I tried to replace them a couple times but it didn't work as the entire track is built off the bassline groove.
