Had fun working with 432 hz - though I can't say I notice any real difference in the 'feel' of it.

Was interesting using Omnisphere for every sound except the percussion - very versatile synth!            If you want to make an apple pie from scratch...you must first invent the universe

Nice one m8, great sounds and fx they definitely speak to me kinda of a laid back feeling to the track as well but it does have drive and seems to tickle the ears keep up the good work...

I fail to see what compelled you to leave such a comment. I welcome criticism, but 'sorry dude song sucks' is not helpful.

What parts are boring? Why?

IMO if you're going to go out of your way to leave a comment make it worth your and someone else's time.            If you want to make an apple pie from scratch...you must first invent the universe

Nice track i was reading an article about this the other week and i have to agree that it doesnt change the feeling of the song, at first i though it did so i listened again and listened to a few of ur other tracks (great tracks btw) in my opinion u created a harmonic balance better your other songs.

Sorry, I did not meant to sound harsh... I also said sorry.
By the way, sorry again. I had to rush away from the pc and I wanted to leave a response to your track anyway.

In my opinion what does not work in this track is the overall feeling... Yes, the sounds are good and the song structure is ok, I guess, but it fails to deliver emotions, at least to me.

And glitchin, I simply leave sincere comments, as I would like others to do with my songs.
I would be happy if, under a track of mine, there would be a SINCERE "it sucks" written by you, because if it is what you really think, so it is important to me.
Of course it would be nice also to know why the song sucks, so I guess you all are right.

Do you really want to hear a song of mine? I've never upload anything, on any site.           Fire Walk With Me

it might be sincere, but thats not the way to leave a comment, think how you can help rather than just make people feel bad about there tracks next time.
upload a track we can hear.

Thanks for your kind words glitching and McMungBean (lol) - they are very appreciated

As for you ierofante - see what you said in your second comment was actually helpful, or could be helpful - it's better than what you first wrote.

I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume that if you are coming into the workshop section and posting comments your goal is to give feedback in a way that would enable the producer to better themselves in some way, yes? I mean, you wouldn't come into a space and just mindlessly troll people with comments - that would be silly.

So - your comment is that the song is boring. That doesn't give any feedback beyond that of your overall impression. That's ok - but what makes it much more useful to the producer is *why* it was boring. Were the sounds the same? Felt too loopy? Same drums the whole way through? There are a lot of things that make something boring.

So in your second comment you say the sounds are good and the song structure is ok but it fails to deliver emotions to you.

That is markedly different than your first comment - and much less douchey. Leading with a positive and then coming with criticism is a much more balanced way to give feedback - and much less likely to elicit defensiveness in the person you're critiquing.

As you said yourself, sincere feedback is important...but without a 'why' that sincerity can come across in a way that's not so great.

I had to left the pc in a hurry, that's why I wrote such short message (already said that).
I dare to find even one disrespectful comment made by me in this forum           Fire Walk With Me
