It's a very solid, dependable device with good ASIO drivers that have been very stable for me.
But comparing with RME or Creamware? I doubt it, man, the US122 is a humble $200 device. If you want multiple outputs, or digital/SPDIF ports, it doesn't have them. It has stereo RCA out, that's it.
If you just want a simple, straightforward device to run VSTs at low latency, it's a great device. If you want something that's going to be the center of your studio and record lots of external gear with, it's not really built for that.
It's designed for guitar players to record themselves playing guitar, but it works well for Psy producers because aside from having a stable ASIO driver, it's solidly made out of metal and rubber, not plastic, so it can be thrown in a backpack and travels well. I can't really speak as to the quality of the converters though, I've just used it for VSTs.

in my opinion it`s not reliable device. furthermore it has only usb 1.1. it`s quite old, i would go for something else for sure. |
