hey there
you can compare their sound in halilit to mackie,
event and m-audio monitors.
i think all the other choices here are better then the tapco. |

I am a very happy owner of apair of S5's .
I have done much research about this thing and heared alot of monitors in this price level . For sure they are better than
m-audio . Go and read some reviews and find out what the pro's says ...
The nice thing about this monitors is that you get more than what you paied for ! |

My opinion: Tapco is very good for listening. But for sound production is not so clear imo.
I think M-audio one(but with 8" woofer) is a better option...

Just go to the shop and listen 
Take what you like the most . I like the tapcos maybe you like something else . ( i also like lot of anshoby on my pizza ... ) .
And dont forget to read some pro reviews before you buy something . |

if you want to take 5" monitor, i really recommand
you to listen the Yamaha 5".
(you have them in Klei Zemer) |

well i have owned a pair of hr824's and a pair of tapco s5's and to tell the truth,i think that the tapco;s fare pretty good on an a/b ...i am pretty happy with the s5's and at that price the only other competitor is the krk rokets
just my 2 cent thaught |
