Has anyone tried these ones???
I tried and the sound sounded "weak". No high frequencies... I thought these monitors should have a MONSTER sound...

but man..
this monitor is very big for have in home studio hehe
the Skulptor is a very very Ignorant .. for use this in that Studio
but.. killa monitors..

Sorry Clufe, but Lipe´s monitors are not the same. He has Tannoy System 1000, this 800a is amplified one. And other thing: Why not having a pro studio at home? 
And after listening to System 1000, I thought the 800 could sound very similar... But I listen, and it´s very weird... Maybe wrong connections, but the sound was "close", as I said no HF. And the LF causes some vibrations...
Just to check what I done: I plugged a DVD player on a mixer and then to the monitors. I can´t think it can be wrong, can I?

the 800a monitor.. are reds
bcs i´ll buying the Tannoiy Reveal
and about a pro studio
heheheh..
i use a alesis one.. is horrible kakakak
but.. i need a 2 monitors.. for same with a 2 musics

Again u are wrong man...
The Tannoy System 800a are blue and black. There´s a blue and red version for Tannoy Reveal I guess(blue is active).
And about Alesis One.. well man, I think the problem of your music is not your equipament AT ALL.... sorry, but with an Audiophile 2496 and an Alesis One, u have a very good combination imo...
Of course Tannoy should sound "better", but u can´t say Alesis One is horrible!
