tannoy reveal or m-audio bx8 ?

hi ppl , iŽll buy my first pair of monitors ,and im a little confuse now , some friends recomend me tannoy , others m-audio , i mean this two brands because its what i can buy now and the prices is almost the same.
someone can help me with this choice please ? thanks so much ppl !!!

Tannoy reveal are 6.5" LF driver in size.
these ones are indeed a really nice pair.
the bx8 are larger - and therefore capable of reproducing more sub - might be even problematic in the end.
but still consider room sizes you're going to be in. M audio BX8 are also a great pair for the money.
try asking someone who's been listening to both monitors and his impressions about the freq feilds. One might be brighter on the mids - adn the other one muddy on the low end.
maybe someone here might know.

BTW i'd like to tap into conversation. I like them both but i wanted to hear your opinion about BX5. Is it much inferior to BX8?
And another point, Kley Zemer now sell BX5 and BX8 with large discount. You might check this.

ya a friend told me that tannoy has more clean sound than m-audio , but i dont know if its realy true , next week iŽll go check the stores to listen both if i can find it near where i live, but would be nice to find someone who has some of these monitors here.

i use the tannoys and they are good clean sound, but lack a little bass. But i wouldnt trade them for anything. I think the most important thing is learning to know your speakers sound.

i heavnt heard the m audio yet but i find the tannoy too messing with the loow i cant point a word to describe it but its make bad things to my opinion...
