so filter LFO. Interesting man. Did you use like a slow and minute filter lfo amount?
DiscoDSP for bass is tight.
And, did you load vb-1 samples into discodsp or just the square wave?

And massive props for that bass man.           www.musicproductionnatural.com || www.facebook.com/djamoeba | facebook page

i mean what do u think is magiclly gunna happen if u export a dull vb1 metalic metal bass drone to cronox? why not just use cronox on its own...

sylenth vst blows both of them away.... envelopes, oscillator what more could u ask for?

sylenth is pure software beauty

But hey everybody gets different results using different techniques...

but why do u think vb1 is lame? because it is easy? i dun get it, live and let live.

I do like the sound of the VB-1 BUT at the same time, I thought Talmasca's sound was vb-1, but Koozer said he used a square wave to make that sound with filter lfo. So I'm trying that now on DiscoDSP.

edit - just listened to koozer's bass again.

OH dude. We were asking what you did to get that bass sound, not the lead hahaha.           www.musicproductionnatural.com || www.facebook.com/djamoeba | facebook page

That would be my fault, because I asked for the programing of that synth sound for the lead Sorry

And I still do

Hello!
you should sample the notes you need, and the root does not determine if its major or minor..
so if you sample a A you can make a track in either major or minor...

its the third that determine that, minor being the smaller interval and major being the bigger...

Good luck

Technically, you can put the bassline in A notes and not even make the track in an A scale, just a scale that has A in it.

@ Koozer

I have to hand it to you, especially considering you're a young'un (no offense intended whatsoever) you've got big big potential. Your attitude and outlook is spot on, too.

You could go a long way if you keep it up, I feel!
