hye there...
well, there can be many answers why your emails didn t arrive...maybe for any reason it went directly in the spam folder, it happened already and we don t know why...maybe you should try to put a subject, or to send from another email adress...
About silicon sound...well, about prices and disponibility, it is exactly the same if you go through neurobiotics or through us, we, at mind control booking, want to promote the french artists, and the french scene...so as you see on the website, myself, nomad, silicon sound, XSI and shagma are booked through alex, which means that if you contact neurobiotics for silicon sound for exemple, eduardo will phone alexandra to check if yohannes is available for this date..and none of them charge more than what the artist is playing for...now, the pricce depends on the country and on the date of course...macedonia and japan are different...
You have to understand that our main goal, is to make a kind of "french team", which will give us more power in the bookings of big parties all over the world, as chemical crew or hommega is doing in israel, and it is always good to have a booking agent in charge of everyone , becuse as you might know, the artists are always travelling, and most of the time are not organised enough to know their schedule on the year....that s why when you will email alexandra she will be abble to let you know what dates are available much more than we're abble to do it ourselves !!!ahahah !!!
And about the others such as altôm, polaris, life extension or triptych, they are friends, they make good music, so if we can help..we do it...and as i said, it is good to have a "team", because by unifying ourselves, we know who are the "bad" promoters, and, more important, if a promoter is not fair with only one of them, he knows he will lose the chance to book in the future any of those artists, (and we are connected with other booking agents such as spun or chemical crew, for the same reason....)
So alexandra is near me now, she is really sorry if there was 6 emails sent from you that she haven't seen, but i can tell you by being in the "office" all day long that she is answering every emails...even the "unserious" ones such as : "hello, i need available dates for talamasca.bye".......
Ok guys, this was a long one.... ...see you soon on the dancefloors !!! |

------it means that if a "rich crew" organizes in turkey gets lower prices than a "poor crew" organizing in germany ??
I suppose that it depends then more on the entry fee organizers can ask depending on the price level of the country?
but does it make sense since in the big festivals most of people come from all over the world and aren't locals?
but does it make sense since for exemple this year in portugal where price level is very low, prices for festivals have been scandalous high not allowing locals to get in the party?
-------about date is it something like high season and low season? possible to have more details?

-------what info must a request have to be "serious" ?
Personally find it not that stupid to ask first if the artist is available or the price before sending a "serious" booking request.
thx for answer, as you notice the world of bookings and aretist management isn't that obvious to most, i believe explaining us things here will make poor alexandra's job easier later....hopefully ;-)

It's more about the size of the party (but not only...).
If 3000 people are supposed to come to the party, the promoters (asuming they are serious people...) have the potential to make big money. And, logically, the artist deserve a share of it. So high fee apply.
If no more than 500 people are supposed to come (because trance is not that popular in the area for exemple), there is no way the promoter can pay the hight fee without loosing money. So the artist might decide to come for less.....

hmmmm
if organisator is serious and he is making good promotion for all parties he has had and it depence also which artist he brought on his previous shows and how all went?? what ??? are we talking is that serious way of an organiser or not???
and.. if the organiser have a club which excepts like 300 - 400 visitors ( u have mention it before..like if there is 3000 party ) ..than agents sais.. Ok he is not serious, our artists wont come hmmm.. why is that!!!!
maybe the organiser with that club has other money inputs for that party ( sponsors etc )
regards
edit: it is ONLY my opinion and i am saying it loud |
