I need an e-book for educational purposes. I am an amateur DJ who plays at parties about 2-3 times a year, although I don't have a laptop. Having my own laptop would be very practical, if I were to step into the scene a bit more.
So I wanted to buy an e-book, but then thought: why don't I get a tablet computer instead? I could use it for lots of other things than just reading, also DJing. So I started to check what's up with the tablet DJing scene and found a few apps and a pro Traktor app for iOS. But the traktor app is only compatible with iOs and you need special Native Instruments hardware to connect to that (or at least that's my understanding). I have a Numark mixtrack pro 2 MIDI controller and a very limited budget.
What would you recommend I do? Should I buy an e-book and a laptop for DJing or get it all in one piece instead? What are the options for DJing with a tablet computer? Facts, opinions?

I have an Ipad Air and I downloaded the Paid version of Traktor, and IMHO its just a toy for when you feel lazy to play from your laptop.
Also, you would need a ipad /tablet compatible soundcard such as the NI Audio2 MK2...
If I were you, Id go for the best bang for the buck laptop I could find...
All the best...
No... no more scientists, no more laboratories, no more experiments, I thought you`d be able to understand that. No more! |
