Hello all Readers
I would like to focus your attention on this amzing band.

After the "Tala Matrix" CD, released on Axiom/Palm Pictures in September 2000 (featuring Talvin Singh !!) Bill Laswell & Indian-born tabla maestro Zakir Hussain (both 'founders' of the band) striked again in 2002 with many colaborations for a new album called "Live in San Francisco at Stern Grove"

Reading the long text upon it on the http://www.tablabeatscience.com/bio.html
let imagine that it must be a VERY exciting Sonic Fusioned Xperience

Let's remind that it is live + electronic music, U can see how the band is organized on the same page.

I wasn't aware of it since this morning Héhé....I'll run to buy it for sure !!           .

I don't really like it too much...
Only good Talvin Singh album in my opinion is Anokha

and then there's also ofcourse the track featured in a movie called the Beach

talvin singh - traveller (once upon in the east kid loco rmx) ...that's a goodie! =) guess where I took my nick from

I can understand your opinion upon Tala Matrix, Traveller

However they explain that this album (Live in SF...) is more roots reggae, drum'n'bass and world influenced than Tala Matrix..

I'm just curious to hear that !

Completely agree about Talvin Singh... after Anokha I never bought anything else from him..

Cheers           .
