i heard an album called the tala matrix by this project called tabla beat science... its a zakir hussain collaboration with various electronic artists... anyone heard of it??? you shud try it out... brilliant blend of tabla and electro beats... quite a synthesis of the analog and the digital world....peace.

i have this album and it has really great ethno sounds ,though i think the album should be tagged in the world music thread.

@ ethno: was thinking about where exactly to post it... its one of those funny things about music i guess... falling into various places at the same time... its probably the electronic elements that drove me to this section.
