please contact artists and have them make a design for you, it's
-ILLEGAL to copy artwork and have it printed on anything.
-disrespectfull to the graphical artists that make the drawings.
-unoriginal.
-against forum guidelines to pirate anything, even artwork.

there are probably tones of free drawings and art out there.
im not so dumb to ask for copyrighted stuff on a forum like this.
next time please make sure you know what you're talkin about before making asumptions ok?

Ok, since i have absolutely no clue about what i'm talking about and most definatly never have found people re-using my artwork without my permisson i'm going to make you an offer you wouldn't expect from a narrowminded person like myself.
if you show me some samples of whast kind of stuff you had in mind i'll see if i can make some original designs specially for your t-shirts. In return i'll just want a few of the t-shirts you have made based on those designs.
Do feel free to show me a few websites with tonnes of free drawings and art! I'd like to get to know them.

well sorry if i didnt state in the 1st post.. im not looking to mass produce t-shirts with such designs or anything and in no case sell t-shirts .. i just wanted to print one for myself to wear at a party

i can't buy the art on a shirt anyway.

I was assuming the prints asked for where meanth for more than one t-shirt, there is not a letter in the first post that indicates it's only about one piece... this might have been a misunderstanding. In the case of cd covers you mention here, i find it rather unlikely that you can't scan them yourself if you're converting your albums to a private mp3 archive. Any other use would be technically illegal. They are in fact copyrighted.

Just like it shows all labels how much you love there music by downloading copies over soulseek? If the artist is still alive the least you can do is the effort to ask for permission, all grapical artists i've spoken to have been more than cooperative for all kinds of purposes.

Neither is everybody a talented musician, yet that doesn't make it ok for them to copy every track made by an artist they like.

sorry about the misunderstanding, i probably forgot to clear that up the situation in the 1st post.
i also think rik is right, only raeason i wanted to make myself a t-shirt was there is no place to get one over here.. and ordering out of the country would probably be next to imposible.
