What do you think of this mastering tool?
i heard some great things + read good reviews about it.
Has anyone tried it before, and does it give a great difference in the sound quality/production??

played around with this program about a year ago, cant say that i really noticed any dramatic difference between this program, and mastering with, say, waves C4, RCL, and Renaissance EQ's in wavelab.
it does have some nice features tho, hahaha - and those valves are pretty cool when you start kickin' it!

I've used it for a long time and still have my hands into it and can ensure it's cool and worth (I've used it just on my non-psychedelic project though). The only trouble I've found on it is that the attenuation is not as clear as you'd like to, but maybe I'm rather clumsy. In any case, try it.

Its a very nice beginner finalizer, its compressing very nice and the high and low cuts are clear and sharp.
all in all handy tool for mastering for a DJ SET mix.           Don't Let Yourself Get Attached To Anything

Though it works only on 16bit color mode. And wavelab allways asks for 24bit or higher... so... no use for the t-racks.

I found T-Racks to add much more colorization to the sound than say renaissance compressor or e.q's, & i don't know if i would use it as a mastering tool for trance music (maybe some other grittier styles of music like hiphop?), but as far as treating individual sounds in the mix with a light to heavy dose of valve sound it is alright (the eq is nice, the compressor is NOT of the transparent variety hence not for mastering but can be slammed hard to produce tasty sounds)
