I think people get a bit carried away with the Waves propoganda.....

don't get me wrong - I use some of their plugins all the time, especially the L2 (conservatively) when mastering , the amazing morphoder, the LinMB, the RVerb and trueverb, etc etc.

But there are other nice plugins that feel very different. E.g. I am using the Sonalksis EQ as a channel EQ a lot at the moment. And all the PSP plugins are amazing, and I think they have a different role to the Waves plugins.

T-Racks falls into this camp... it is 'analogue emulation' rather than clean digital processing. I havent used it yet cos the old version didnt work with SX 2, but I have been meaning to try the new version.... maybe the compressor on its own as a channel compressor....

If you are thinking of spending money on a bundle, greywolf, I would forget Waves cos they cost too much. Go for Voxengo stuff and spend the extra on PSP, Sonalksis etc. If you are gonna download then the discussion is pointless cos you get everything.
