Is it best to buy T-racks or own all the waves plugins? or both? is waves all one needs? (if you own all their plugins) or do you still need to use other compressors and eq's in addition to their stuff...

your opinions please:)

You can use T-Racks for other stuff too...especialy if you got the VST plug-in version:EQ,Distortion,Compressor,Limiter,Tube.T-Racks is all-in-one solution while Waves is each plug-in for its own porpuse...(Sorry for my English) ...P.S. But if you can afford Waves($2000-3000-you can afford T-Racks($300-400).

why is it always "versus"?

be specific in which plug from waves in comparison to which plug from t-racks next time           www.organicparadox.com

In the 60's, people took acid to make the world weird. Now the world is weird and people take Prozac to make it normal.

i think that waves will solve your problem.as in waves pack you have multiband compressor for final mastering and limiters and many many more.
so buying waves - you will not need t-racks

If you can "buy" the waves platinum pack, this has about 10 plug ins, including the C4 Mastering Compressor, L1 Ultramaximiser & S1 Stereoimager.

Once you've found out how to use these excellent tools, you'll never look at T-racks again (well, maybe just to point at it and laugh).

Use them with wavelab or sound forge and "stack" your processors on the output master section (wavelab) or Audio Plug In Chainer (SForge).

Happy mastering

I heard about the T-Racks good things but haven't tried him yet - about the Waves pack,

I couldn't leave without it.
