So, tried that.
I can say, the GUI is sooo beautiful, the designer did a great job... =)
But the sound... 0_O
Maybe i'm missing something, but nothing really special, at least. *uninstalled

what do you mean by "no restriction on the bands "? It's 6-band.
Honestly, i didn't make a deep test on it, tweaked compressors and limiters more.

some linear eqs (like waves) are needlessly modelled after analog eqs in that the bands are restricted to a certain range i.e. lowband 30-150 hz , mid, etc

i would not dismiss t-racks 3 so fast...
the pultec clone is one of the closest things to UAD pultec eq i have heard.
i would rate t-racks in the top 3 sweet vintage clones.
the only downside i have found is that its cpu hungry.
