around 1300, which is not bad i think. I could theoritical swing 200 upgrades if necessary, but was saving this for good soundcard..
Does everything seem okay? I got an asus, are intel and this chip compatible?

yes they r compatible....but well i would not buy Asus board, as they too comercial now and got no time to work on Bios so fast as they bring to the market new models
go for Evga 680i SLI, it is truly rock solid board for your CPU....also real nice for overclocking ..and yea choose another case (silent one) ..also insted printer or 2nd CD-rom i would go for another 2GB of RAM, at least DDR2-1066
