does fruity have an option to start in safe mode? (without loading vst plugins)
I think this can be caused by some nasty plugin...
If no, reinstalling of all plugins could be a hassle, so i would start from reinstalling fruity loops, then sound drivers...
If that doesn't help - disable plugins one-by-one...
Btw, it may be useful if you describe the crash: what happens, when, every time or not etc...

"crash" is not a good explanation.
you have got to find the problem what causes the crash.
-fl studio
-any vst
-any cracked software
-soundcard
...
do you get a bluescreen or a freeze, does only FL freeze, or cant you press any key. do you have to restart?
cheers

well i have disabled plugins and tried to work around only with some samples but it seems to crash even then.... and then while i try to restart the pc doesent seem to respond for a while....
i can see a small light flicker on my desktop usually at times.... now this can be due to a virus or mayb some connectivity problem with the chords inside...
the crash is not tht frequent though....
i think imm gnna go about by re-installing fl studio and the drivers mayb tht could sort it out!!!

Youre using Windows?
If so, check the application/security event logs.
If any application causes a crash or hangup, you should be able to see it there. (dunno how its called in english, but you can access these via right-click on your workspace symbol and then choose something like "administer" or so...)
If its heat: easy to measure...there are tons of free temperature displays for PC's. Just google a bit and you will find some.
As already said, opening the case to check the Fans&stuff can really help. By time they are collecting so much dust that they loose efficiency(sp?)
Cheers,

need more info man , what is it exactly when u say "crash" ... b.s.o.d. error ? , or does everything freeze ? , what specs u running ... how much cpu usage when u got everything in midi and full effects etc , is another program causing it ? .. coz sounds bad , i suggest a backup of all project files , sample library etc and format it .. and fresh install put only the vst u know and need , a 100 cracked plugs = 100 possible problems .. less is more , g`luck , computer problems sure are a bitch
