Between all the things i've already got,and all the new suggestions (thanks  )i'm really suprised nobody mentioned system 7.
For me it is one of the best ambient works ever created.

It's a very good album... Steve Hillage must
run on duracells or something, how does he do it?
He's now in his FIFTH decade of music making!

It's a classic!
I have a nice story about a track from that album. But not the time to tell it now. Maybe later.
Steve is definitely the artist that I most amazed by, he has been crossing generes and musical borders, always innovating and always with a good vibe feel in his music.
A while a go I saw in a shop a CD release of an old psychdelic rock 70s Steve Hillage live album- to see him on the cover has put a big smile on my face.
Rainbow Dome Musick is still one of the deepest dives in ambient music for me.
