Why don't keep your dollars and still get modular abilities with excellent soundquality?

I tried Reaktor, and own a NM G2...and what i can tell you is that the NM interface is far more easy to work with than Reaktor in my opinion...
There's differences in modules (think Reaktor has got more), but i guarantee u, u can't go wrong buying a G2...U'll love it...
It's a very expressive instrument...
There used to be a PC/MAC demo out for the G2, just to use as a stand-alone application with limitations to polyphony and use of certain modules, but i dunno if that's still around...

As for the topic...i wouldn't know of any hardware that's capable of producing the same type of modular synthesis as the G2 or Nord Modular (1)...

what about the creamware scope ? excellent modular system (modular II and even III) and many other plugins.... i know it`s not a hardware modular, but these are usually very expensive, maybe try to set up your own system (doepfer, synthesizers.com...) if you are more into the technical stuff...

Yea...black cat, forgot about that, a friend owns the Pulsar II and the modular synth inthere sounds amazing, but the creamware support sucks...
He's running it on a mac, and there's still no osx version available, and i doubt if there's ever gonna come one
