I was wondering the pros and cons of each. I've googled it a bit but could really only find information pertaining to 5 years ago.

I'm mostly interested in which program has better sound quality? I just don't want to spend my time learning a program that I will have to work harder at getting a stronger sound out of.

Synthmaker easily has better sound quality..
The designers really took the best aspects of reaktor and synthedit and have melded them togather too as far as workflow goes.
The only pro left with synthedit is being older it has more modules but its really ran its course.
