Hi
i saw on the solstice dvd, on syntheic live act of the track africa. i noticed that theres notes on the mixer-channels (like "bass"). have he like wrote little paper-notes and put them on the channels, or can u program this some way...?? im just curious |

I've seen mixers with little papers written saying the instruments for each fader, don't know if there are any mixers that have that option also, like a LCD display to write it, that would be quite cooooll! |

writing paper-notes on each chan of the mixer is preety usuall...
i didnt checked any trance artist but ive seen it in like every club i played with my band so...
(btw i hope i understood ur question hehehe)

Here's what commercial studio's do. We get a strip of masking tape or insulation tape (any tape that hasn't got too much glue will do) and place it over the bottom of the mixer.
We then take a pen and write below each channel so we can quickly see what's where (handy when you're working with 64 channels!). |
