You can get any good hardware synthesizer and program it to achive the desired sound. For example, Virus and Nordlead are great synths. The virus is excellent for warm goa sounds and for crazy FM sounds. The nordlead sound could also be adjusted to produce those warm sounds, but as I see it, it's designed to produce psychedelic noises of all kinds, which are used A LOT by many many artists.

Specify more which sound you are looking for.

You can make nice noises in Reason and in Reactor, this programms are used by some of the artists you mentioned, another good hardware synths for those "noises" are nordlead 1,2,3
Virus
and
Waldorf XT, XTK.

fruity loops ts404 is really cool sounding. only problem is it lacks alot of lead capability using a midi keyboard. unless i havent figured out how to work it just right. its good for sequecing patterns. pro 52 also           -=Keep it Spiritual=-

Never managed to controll the ts404 via Midi. Very nice Synth though.
I'd recommend to release a VST version of it.           Everyone in the world is doing something without me

the clavia nord lead is the shit...

the ts404 is controlled via midi with the record button on while playing a pattern in the step sequencer. very difficult.           -=Keep it Spiritual=-

Hmm should try it.
Solar-- you can get nice lead sounds with Roland JP8000. But if you short with money you can start with Symsinth and Reactor.           Everyone in the world is doing something without me
