And what is the difference between rack and keyboard.....i know it comes with a keyboard on it...
but can i find separate keyboard as the same quality that comes with the synth....please help me out

tnx in advance.....

You also should have descent audio interface to record the actual sound that goes out of the synth.
Racks are usually have less polyphony (less voices simultaneously) than their keyboard brothers. But that's not necessary. Also you get less control knobs and sliders.
I'd recommend one descent MIDI controller with lotsa knobs and sliders and synths in rack versions.           Everyone in the world is doing something without me

thirdd:
if your usb card is of a good enough quality of sampling & has as many ins/outs as u need - this will be enough.

as for racks:
from the 1st sight:
hardware-wise, the racks are less capable [less fx, less memory], with the same sound quality and interface.
but todays synths are far too filled up with features of which u use only 10%.
plus racks cost less + take much less space.

this is general blabla.

now for the more useful - simply go to a store and play with racks.

boom.
