SynSUN & Phonokol Records are proud to present
The SYNSUN "FUTURE PEOPLE" RMX CONTEST!
5 winning tracks will be released on a Phonokol EP!
Levels of anticipation for this project can be defined as high to say the least.
Not many artists have obtained such a respectful status as one of the best sound engineers around, but SynSUN most certainly have.
Their music is constantly described as a breath of fresh air that always finds new and interesting ways to innovate and inspire the listening audience exploring further and farther in to the world of music synthesis and richness of rhythmic sentences. Few groups have so many tracks under their belt and as many studio albums so it stands to reason that they should already release a RMX album.
Their project will conceive a double RMX cd which will be released early 2010, and what is better than having a RMX contest, in which the winner will be released on Phonokol Records.
Remixed tracks (MP3 320) should be uploaded via any file transfer method (sendspace, yousendit, rapidshare, etc…)
Upload adress: synsun.rmx.contest@gmail.com
All files should include the RMX and a text file containing the remixer's contact detail (artist name, age, country, e-mail).
Remix contest dedline is 31 october 2009.

I better get in on this while i'm still early...
Are there any other rules as far as what we can do as remixers?
What is the BPM?
Can we add/remove samples or sounds?
Any style your looking for?

Some real heavy gritty synth lines in here...
I got a few good hours of work in on this track, its been nice working in a whole new style of psytrance.
I'm not tring to get to crazy with it, I'm tring to keep it true to the original track just with a new twist.
Its been fun so far.

Ok, so last time I was working on this track I was messing around with some sound card settings and lost audio....
I turned off my computer and called it a night. When I went to open it agin the next day it keeps crashing Cubase 4 when it starts loading mixer settings.
C4 opens fine it lets me start new projects and everything seems fine but all the vertions I saved of this track will not open, it just keeps crashing C4 at the same point in the load up...
I am unsure at this point if I will be able to salvage this track and have it done on time.

Did anyone know how to make the 303 sound that start on 00:30 of the ORIGINAL TRACK, im looking to create that type of lead, but i couldn't make anything close yet.
